approach to clinical research.
Summary of Experience
- Working across a range of therapeutic areas including respiratory,
cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and analgesic projects.
- Extensive medical writing experience including Clinical Study Protocols,
Clinical Study Reports, Clinical Overviews, Clinical Summaries and
Investigators' Brochures as well as publications reporting the results of
scintigraphy, pharmacokinetic, paediatric taste-testing and dental pain
studies.
- Wide experience of Phase I - IV clinical trials including the successful
project management of the following:
- Paediatric asthma studies in UK General Practices
- Chronic bronchitis studies in the elderly in UK hospitals
- Scintigraphy studies for the development of respiratory inhalers and
sore throat medication
- A 900-patient chronic pain study in 8 sites in the UK
- Two dental pain studies, each at 3 sites, in the USA
- Pharmacokinetic studies
- Post-marketing and acceptability studies in European General
Practice
- Taste-testing studies (adult and paediatric).
- Contribution to the project management of a large worldwide
cardiovascular study.
- Experience of working with Site Management Organisations and Clinical
Research Organisations.
- Development of strong relationships with opinion leaders.
- Presentation at international investigator meetings and scientific
conferences.
